Hello again. Can you believe it? Two consecutive days of blogging. Who would have thought. Here is as a quick update for those who are wondering how the job situation is going for me (Doug). I am hoping to hear from the department soon. It has been over 2 weeks since my interview and all I know is that it is tied up in Human Resources right now. Heather and I are anxiously awaiting an offer (fingers crossed) and hoping that I will be starting March 1st. We want to start looking for a house as soon as possible, but we are waiting to see if we can be approved for a higher loan.
Last night we had our friends Jim and Syndie Best and their kids over for a valentines day dinner. It was a good time but for those of you who do not have kids yet, be fore-warned that there is no such thing as nice and quiet dinner conversation when there are kids anywhere in the area.
