Today was the first day back at work and it was pretty quiet. My boss is out this week and since we are a department of 2, that left me alone in my work. I spent the first part of the morning researching classes that I could take to renew my CPA license. My goal is to get that done by the end of February so I can start again toward my 80 credits of CPE I need to keep it.
Tonight was a nice night at home with Heather and the boys. Paxton really fought tooth and nail not to eat the cheesy pasta dish we had for dinner. We told him he had to eat one noodle or he was going to sit at the table until bedtime. He cried and cried when we all left the table. Heather was laying by the fireplace and Parker and I were reading books on the couch. It wasn't until Parker went upstairs and brought down his Shutes and Ladders that Paxton got for Christmas that he finally threw the noddle in and drown it with water. Score one for the parents! For those of you interested, Parker won the Shutes and Ladders so score one for him.
To conclude, here is a picture of the boys from the annual holiday excursion to Twelve Oaks to see Santa.
