And then there were 3...

The third post of the third day of the year. Could this be a trend? Might I be able to post 365 posts in one year?

Here's a little catch-up on some family news:

My Grandpa Hovey's brother, LeRoy, died last week. I didn't know him that well. Really, I only know that he liked to play cribbage and that he had a son and two daughters. He was the last living of my grandfather's siblings. Their four sisters all passed away years ago. My thoughts have really been with my Grandpa lately. I am really glad that he has Jo, his wife, to go through this with him and be his shoulder to lean on.

I am not sure I ever posted this before, but my little sister is pregnant. She is in the 2nd trimester. I think she is due in June sometime. I'll keep you posted on that as it goes along. Look for posts labeled Baby Rhodes.

Today was rather uneventful. I worked on a couple projects and realized that I have so much to get done in so little time. I am trying to learn to develop for the open source CMS called Drupal (www.drupal.org). It will be what our designers at Michigan Marketing and Design are using to backend our new FinOps website. I want to be able to develop web based applications in it, but it is pretty big and the coding is much more complex than I am use to. Hopefully, it will one of those things where once I get over the learning curve I will be pretty efficient at it. Hopefully enough to develop some other websites for family businesses. Well, I am sure that just bored the guts out of everyone, so I will sign off for tonight.

Tomorrow night's post might come Friday morning since I will be out late recording some music with a friend. I'll let you know how that goes tomorrow!
