1st Annual Hovey Bash 2006

Dundee, Michigan

The first annual Hovey Bash was a big success. Two great bands performed on a beautiful summer evening and lots of friends reminised about days gone by. EarRelevant kicked off the night with songs we all know and love such as:

  • No Matter What by Bad Finger

  • All My Lovin by The Beatles

  • Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison

  • Bad Day by Daniel Powter

  • Take It Easy by The Eagles

  • Let It Be by The Beatles

  • Bad Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce

  • Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks

  • Margarittaville by Jimmy Buffet

  • I Love This Bar by Toby Keith

  • Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell

  • Who Says You Can't Go Home by Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles

  • Have I Told You Lately by Jim Reeves

  • Maybellene by Foghat

  • The night was young and since the cops hadn't showed up yet, we decided to crank it up a little with Lt. Dan. Their set included:

  • Crackerman by Alice in Chains

  • Alive by Pearl Jam

  • Betterman by Pearl Jam

  • Santa Monica by Everclear

  • Crossfire by Stevie Ray Vaughn

  • Black by Pearl Jam

  • The Distance by Cake

  • Tush by ZZ Top

  • Tomorrow by Silver Chair

  • Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes

  • Would by Alice in Chains

  • Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix

  • Special thanks to EarRelevant (Syndie Best, Randy Gray and Jeff Lidster) and Lt. Dan (Shawn Nicholson, Eric "Doodle-bug" Sanders and Mike McDonough) for coming down and making my weekend awesome. I enjoy jamming with you guys and wouldn't trade any of it for the world.

See you next year for HOVEY BASH 2!
