We are so sorry that we have not blogged in a while. We have settled into the house now and we are loving it. We have had a couple housewarming parties and the families have visited quite a few times. Saturday we hosted a housewarming party for friends from U of M and our friends Heidi and Dave. It was a great time as we all had some great laughs. Many thanks to Dave and Diane Winter, Dan Mesquiti, Marianne Ibrahim, Ray, Jan and Anne Weiner, Dave and Heidi and my sister Carolyn.
Last night we hosted Father’s Day dinner for Heather’s mom’s side of the family. It was actually nice to have two parties back-to-back since we only had to go through the cleaning phase once. We grilled hot-dogs right before the rain started and we had SO much food, from potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, baked beans and two different cakes. Everyone stayed quite a while and we drank coffee and talked a long time. Uncle Steve and Aunt Barb, Eric, Grandpa and Grandma Kreps (aka Grandpa “with a cane” and Grandma “with a shirt”), Dad and Mom Clark, Aunt Karen and Molly, and Ryan and Lindsey all had a nice visit with us. Uncle Greg and Aunt Sandy, Kelli, Kate and Nick were missed as they moved Kelli in for her summer internship in Washington D.C., and Uncle Robert and Ben were also missed.
