First, I am sorry about the long time between posts. I knew when I started this that I wouldn't be on top of this every week, so please be patient.
Parker is getting near his last day of school, which will be this Monday. Next year, we have decided to put him in another preschool in Canton. Although he could go to kindergarten, we don't think it is necessary to rush him. He has a new bike that he absolutely loves and would ride around the block non-stop if we let him. He gets a little frustrated with it when the pedals get into that certain spot where he can't get going on his own, but once he gets going, he really moves right along. He just spent last weekend with Papa and Grandma Hovey in Kalamazoo with his cousing Dalton. They had a great time despite Parker getting a pretty bad bloody nose in the middle of the night. Papa calmed him down with some ice cream and he lives on.
Paxton is still being a brat about eating. While he was over at Jim and Syndies house this week, he ate 2 bowls of Mac & Cheese. Do you think he would eat it the next day back at our place? Well of course not. The kid is so picky about his food that we spoon feed him peanut butter just to get him some protein. He still manages to down a few chicked nuggets along with some yogurt and applesauce. The doctors are not concerned so we don't lose sleep over it. Lately he has been healthy and pretty happy.
Heather is babysitting for some friends here and there during the week. She does a great job around the house and enjoys the time with the boys.
I am gearing up for the busy season that starts next month. There is a lot to closing the year but I am starting to get use to it. This will be my 3rd yearend close in Financial Reporting. The last couple days I have done some major spring cleaning in the office and I am trying to be a little more organized.
Well, that's it for now. I'll try getting back here before halloween to write more.
