OK, now I have tried my best to avoid getting into the blogging scene as I just see it as a time killer. However, now that I have children and I am constantly being hounded to send pictures and updates on their lives, I concede that this could be a useful medium to distribute Hovey family news. So anyway, here we go with my first blog attempt.
First, a little background on Hoveyville. I'm Doug. I am married to a truly wonderful woman, Heather. I know some of you are thinking that is such a cliche line to throw in there and every married man has to say that by default, but I tell you that if you know me, you would understand that she has to be the most patient, understanding, tolerant woman to have ever walked the face of the earth. I can't confirm it, but she has my vote along with most everyone who really does know me. We have two boys, Parker and Paxton (yes, we like the P names). Parker is 4 years old and Paxton is a year and a half. We love them and are pretty sure they are the cutest kids in the whole world. I know, another cliche line. But hey, it's my blog and I am in control. I'll see if I can't get some pictures up of them soon. They are just so cute!
Well, I have to get back to work, so I'll have to skip the second, third, etc. items I was planning on writing. Well, at least it's a start.
