This past weekend was my weekend in East Lansing for the Michigan High School Boys' Basketball Finals. There were some great match-ups with one game going into overtime with a game winning shot in the last seconds. One exciting sidenote to the weekend was on Friday morning, my friend Jim and I were playing basketball at the Michigan Athletic Club and within a half hour after we left, they evacutated tbe building because someone accidentally mixed the wrong chemicals for the pool and created a haz-mat gas. We didn't think anything of the fire trucks and police cars until later that night when we got back from the games and it was on the news. All in all the weekend was really fun.
Heather and the boys spent the night at a friend's house while I was gone, and it sounded like the had a good time. I will try and get Heather to write some of these blogs on what she is doing.
